Job Position(s): Delivery-Focused Assistant Producer; VFX
Project Type: VFX Production
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

StudioB is hiring a Delivery-Focused Assistant Producer with a VFX background, based in Central London. This role sits within the post-production pipeline, responsible for keeping creative projects on track from brief through to final delivery, coordinating across VFX teams, clients, and internal stakeholders. It is best suited to a production professional who has spent time in a VFX studio or post house and knows what it takes to move work through a pipeline without losing either quality or schedule.

About the Role

The Delivery-Focused Assistant Producer at StudioB works across a slate of creative projects where VFX is central to the output, managing day-to-day production workflow across multiple jobs simultaneously. A typical day involves tracking deliverables against schedule, communicating progress to stakeholders, and solving the small logistical problems that accumulate quickly in a busy VFX post-production environment. This is a hands-on coordination role, not a purely administrative one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily delivery schedules across active VFX projects, ensuring assets move through the post-production pipeline on time and to spec.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between internal VFX artists and external clients, translating creative feedback into actionable production notes.
  • Track project milestones and flag risks early, maintaining up-to-date status reports for each job in the slate.
  • Coordinate shot turnovers, QC rounds, and final deliveries, ensuring all technical specifications are met before material leaves the studio.
  • Support the senior producer in managing budgets, purchase orders, and resource allocation across concurrent projects.
  • Maintain clear documentation of project decisions, version history, and client approvals throughout the production workflow.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of three years working in a production coordinator or assistant producer role within a VFX studio or post-production facility.
  • Solid understanding of VFX pipeline processes, including plate management, compositing rounds, and delivery formats.
  • Proven experience managing stakeholder relationships across creative, technical, and client-facing teams.
  • Familiarity with production tracking tools commonly used in VFX post, such as Shotgrid or equivalent project management software.
  • A track record of managing multiple projects in parallel without missing delivery deadlines.

Why This Role

StudioB is a growing VFX studio in the City of London with a production slate that gives its team genuine variety and creative range. The Delivery-Focused Assistant Producer role carries real autonomy, with direct influence over how projects are run rather than simply supporting decisions made elsewhere. The studio culture is collaborative without being precious, which makes it a practical place to develop a post-production career.
