This role sits within a content production workflow covering end-to-end video production for social media platforms and YouTube, from pre-production planning through to final delivery. It suits a self-sufficient shooter-editor who is comfortable owning the full production process without handing off to a separate post team.

About the Role

The Creative Videographer & Content Producer works across a slate of branded and platform-specific content, functioning as both the camera operator and the editor on the same projects. A typical day moves between location shoots and desk-based post-production work, with the role demanding fluency in both disciplines rather than specialisation in one. This is a stable, ongoing position rather than a short contract, with room to grow the scope of the work over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute video shoots end-to-end, handling camera operation, lighting setup, and on-location audio capture without a dedicated crew.
• Edit footage through the full post-production workflow, including colour grading, sound mixing, and platform-specific export formatting.
• Produce content formatted for multiple distribution channels, including short-form social media video and longer YouTube productions.
• Manage audio techniques across both production and post, ensuring clean dialogue, voiceover, and ambient sound at every stage.
• Oversee project timelines from brief to delivery, coordinating shoot schedules and edit turnarounds to meet platform deadlines.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual language across content output, applying creative direction informed by each platform’s audience.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable experience as a videographer and editor across social media content production and YouTube video production.
• Strong working knowledge of professional editing software used in current post-production workflows, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Practical audio skills covering field recording, microphone placement, and post-production sound treatment.
• A portfolio showing full-cycle production credits, from pre-production through finished delivery, across multiple formats.
• Ability to work independently on hybrid shoot-and-edit projects without a separate production or post team behind you.
