Zoku is hiring a freelance Content Creator & Video Editor based in Amsterdam, with travel across their European hotel locations. This role sits at the intersection of branded content production and social media video workflow, covering everything from campaign shoots and F&B imagery to short-form video assets for paid media, web, and sales channels. It suits a shooter-editor who is equally comfortable pulling focus in a dimly lit rooftop bar as they are cutting a polished 30-second social spot in post.

About the Role

This is a solo content production role within Zoku’s marketing function, responsible for all planned, high-value visual output across four European properties. The day-to-day splits between original production work, such as campaign shoots, event coverage, and F&B content, and editorial oversight of raw footage captured by a network of on-site community managers you will train and direct. Think of it as running a small content studio where you are the cinematographer, editor, showrunner, and quality gate all at once.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production on all planned brand and commercial content, from pre-production concept through to delivered, channel-ready assets in the correct formats and aspect ratios.
• Build and maintain a rolling 8 to 12 week content calendar tied to commercial priorities including F&B campaigns, meetings and events, seasonal moments, and paid social schedules.
• Edit short-form video content with considered pacing, music, and subtitles for social media video production across organic and paid channels.
• Train community managers across all locations as content spotters, writing and maintaining a production guide covering shot composition, consent protocols, and upload procedures.
• Curate and shape raw footage submitted by spotters, acting as the final quality filter before anything is published or promoted under the Zoku name.
• Manage the brand asset library, keeping photography and video organized and accessible for use across marketing, sales, CRM, and recruitment.

What You Bring

• A demonstrable reel of branded content production and short-form video work, ideally spanning hospitality, lifestyle, or editorial clients.
• Strong camera operating skills across both photo and video, with a natural eye for available light and unscripted moments.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software, with the ability to turn around polished cuts quickly and independently.
• Experience managing a content calendar and delivering assets to brief without a producer or coordinator running the schedule for you.
• Comfortable working across multiple locations, adapting to different spaces and brief types without losing visual consistency.
