About the Role

The Communications Consultant Videographer operates within a cross-functional communications team, producing content that spans corporate video production, social media campaigns, executive town halls, and community storytelling initiatives. Day-to-day work moves between pre-production planning, on-location shoots with interviews and event coverage, and edit sessions incorporating motion graphics, captions, and platform-specific formatting. This is an end-to-end production role, meaning you own the project from concept through distribution, not just one phase of it.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and edit video content for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, as well as internal channels and the corporate Newsroom.
• Film interviews, member stories, provider stories, and executive content across both on-location and studio environments, handling camera, lighting, and audio setup independently.
• Develop shot lists, story concepts, and interview questions as part of the pre-production process for each project.
• Edit projects using professional editing software with motion graphics, branded creative elements, and accessibility-compliant captioning built into the post-production workflow.
• Manage digital asset organization, metadata tagging, and content libraries to keep video archives searchable and production-ready.
• Apply AI-enabled tools for transcription, captioning, content repurposing, and metadata creation to improve discoverability across search engines and generative platforms.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience across full-cycle video production, from pre-production through post, on corporate or branded content projects.
• Proficiency in professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar industry-standard platforms, with motion graphics capability.
• Hands-on experience operating cameras, lighting rigs, and location audio equipment in both studio and field production settings.
• A portfolio that shows short-form social video production alongside longer-form corporate or documentary-style storytelling.
