The show’s casting directors have just released casting notices for scenes that will be filming  in the Chicagoland area. The show needs lots of talent to work as paid background extras. There is a call out for general extras who are available to work in scenes on various days this week or next.  Please see the casting notices listed below for all the details.

Chicago Med  is created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead. The show is a spin-off of NBC’s popular drama series “Chicago Fire” (which is also filming right now).  “Chicago Med” is described as “an emotional ride through the day-to-day chaos of the city’s most explosive hospital and the courageous team of doctors that holds it together”.  In the series premiere, the grand opening of Chicago Med’s emergency department is interrupted by victims of an “L” train crash, pushing the staff to their limits.

Searching for men and women, 22 to 29, all ethnicities, who can work multiple days each episode on “Chicago Med” to play MEDICAL STUDENTS. We start July 12th and shoot thru the beginning of April. We shoot Monday thru Friday with an occasional Saturday. We shoot about five to six days of our eight day episode in the hospital and we would could need you 4 to 6 times each episode.

If you are totally available to work, if you are chosen as a med student, send in a recent color photograph with your current hair cut and style, and current facial hair (if any) for men and put “Med Student Core” in the subject line. Include your height, weight, age, phone number, city, state, and your CLOTHING SIZES!

Searching for a Caucasian male, 30’s to 60’s, 6’3 to 6’5, 230 to 250 lbs, dark hair, clean shaven, to work as one of the main stand-ins (same height and coloring as actor to use in place of actor to light and block the set), almost every day, Monday thru Friday, and an occasional Saturday, on “Chicago Med”.

List any standin experience you might have, or list set experience. You must have a current government ID and a social security card to work on set.
