LA Kings – Sr. Video Editor

AEG Worldwide is hiring a Sr. Video Editor to join the LA Kings content production team in El Segundo, California. This role sits inside the production department and owns the full post-production workflow, from first cut to color correction, audio mix, and final delivery across arena, broadcast, and digital formats. It’s built for an editor with sports or live event production experience who can lead creative from concept through execution without a lot of hand-holding.

About the Role

The Sr. Video Editor reports to the Director of Content Production and works across departments including Corporate Partnerships, Community Relations, Marketing, and Ticketing to deliver video content for a major NHL franchise. Output spans game presentation packages, in-arena show elements, social content, and sponsor-facing productions. On any given week, that means managing an edit suite, pitching original concepts to external clients, and cutting game night ceremony elements under deadline.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead original content production from concept through final cut, including scripting, editing, color correction, and managing music licensing and audio relationships.
• Produce and self-initiate content pieces within specified deadlines, bringing ideas to camera without waiting for a full production brief.
• Build and execute game presentation video elements for LA Kings home games, including pre-game, in-game, and post-game ceremony packages.
• Develop post-production workflow improvements and establish best practices that increase the overall output quality of the editorial team.
• Serve as the internal point of contact for external clients and vendor partners on all video deliverables tied to the LA Kings brand.
• Contribute motion graphics and 3D animation work using After Effects as part of a broader content production pipeline.

What You Bring

• 4 to 6 years of professional editing experience, with a BA or BS in TV, film production, or a closely related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop, with a firm grasp of video compression and standard broadcast and digital codecs.
• Hands-on experience with audio mixing and color correction inside Adobe Premiere.
• A working range across content formats, including marketing promotions, arena show packages, and short-form social content.
• Availability to work game days, including nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the NHL season.
