A non-union feature film shooting in the GTA is seeking a Set Photographer from September 13–20, 2025. The role involves capturing behind-the-scenes photos and videos of cast and crew for marketing and promotional use. Applicants should have 2+ years of photography experience, on-set familiarity, their own gear, and preferably access to a vehicle. Strong technical, lighting, and communication skills are required. Pay is $300/day, with meals provided. A one-week contract (40–50 hrs) and a great opportunity for photographers to gain feature film credits.

The set photographer will be responsible for capturing behind-the-scenes stills and/or videos of the cast and crew. These materials will be used for marketing and promotional purposes for the film. No editing is required. The production company will have the final copyright of the photos. Any use of the photos by the photographer will need permission from the production office.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with producer and publicist to understand production needs in terms of PR and marketing
• Arrive early onset to capture photos of the cast during processing times
• Capture photos of cast and crew during filming in an unobtrusive way
• Work with filming crew to ensure that each take can be photographed without interference to filming
• Digitally deliver photos for each full day of shooting to the production team

Requirements

• Previous on set experience as a set photographer is preferred
• Must have your own gear to shoot with
• Access to a vehicle is preferred
• Excellent camera and lighting skills
• Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
