Rockford Grill, part of the Northland Properties Corporation family of hospitality brands, is hiring a Content Creator and Photographer/Videographer based in Toronto, ON. This role sits within the social media and communications department, producing photo and video content across a portfolio of restaurant and hotel brands including Moxies, Chop Steakhouse and Bar, Sandman Hotel Group, The Sutton Place Hotels, and several others. It suits a visual storyteller with a background in commercial or hospitality photography and videography who is equally comfortable shooting a polished brand campaign as they are turning around a lo-fi social video the same day.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Social Media and Communications, the Content Creator and Photographer/Videographer works across multiple brand accounts simultaneously, each with its own tone, visual identity, and audience. A typical production day might involve planning and executing a brand shoot at a restaurant location, cutting content for Instagram and TikTok, and reviewing performance analytics to inform the next round of creative. The volume is real and the output is high, so production workflow discipline matters as much as the creative eye.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit both hi-fi brand photography and lo-fi social video content across restaurant and hotel properties throughout the Toronto area and beyond, with travel required for some projects.
• Develop original content concepts for multi-platform campaigns, maintaining distinct visual and narrative tone for each brand account.
• Monitor social media platform algorithms and adjust content production approaches based on data and engagement analytics.
• Source and organize production resources for shoots, managing timelines and project backlogs across the content team.
• Produce user-generated-content-style video for Instagram Reels and TikTok, reproducing on-trend formats quickly and accurately.
• Create supplementary content from existing assets, supporting the broader social media production pipeline when needed.

What You Bring

• Minimum three years of professional photography and videography experience, ideally within commercial, hospitality, or real estate production contexts.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve or equivalent post-production editing software.
• Working knowledge of graphic design tools and AI-assisted content creation workflows.
• A portfolio demonstrating range across both stills and video formats, including short-form social content.
• Strong written English skills with the ability to tailor copy and captions to match different brand voices.
