The Contract Commercial Video & Photo Editor works across video post-production and photo retouching, cutting commercials, animated ads, and product imagery for campaign launches on a project and schedule basis. A typical day might involve assembling a mixed-media advertisement in Premiere Pro, adding motion graphics in After Effects, and preparing a batch of ecommerce product photos for web delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit live-action, animated, and mixed-media commercial content for merchandise launches and external brand partnership campaigns.
• Handle audio post-production including voiceover integration, music licensing placement, sound design, and dialogue balancing for final deliverables.
• Build and animate motion graphics elements including logo treatments, title cards, promotional callouts, and end cards for digital advertising.
• Retouch and color correct ecommerce product photography and lifestyle imagery, then export web-ready assets to platform specifications.
• Adapt finished edits into multiple formats and aspect ratios across YouTube, streaming, social media, and website channels.
• Maintain clean project file organization and asset management throughout each campaign cycle while incorporating revision rounds efficiently.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience editing commercial, advertising, or branded content in a professional post-production context.
• Strong working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro as your primary editing platform.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe After Effects and motion graphics compositing workflows.
• Experience editing both video and photography assets within a single production or campaign pipeline.
