This role sits within the content production team, responsible for shooting and editing social-first video and photo content for hospitality brands across digital platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. It suits a self-directed shooter and editor who is comfortable owning projects end-to-end, from pre-production planning through to final delivery.

About the Role

The Videographer (Marketing & Content Creator) works directly with the creative team at What Matters Agency to produce brand content for some of Australia’s leading hospitality businesses. A typical day moves between location shoots, edit suite work in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and creative development sessions with the broader team. The role covers both camera and post-production workflow, so you will need to be equally comfortable behind a lens and in the timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Film and edit high-quality video and photo content for social media marketing campaigns and digital brand storytelling across multiple platforms.
• Operate professional camera and lighting setups on location, including iPhone capture for social-first content production.
• Cut and grade footage in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, ensuring deliverables align with each client’s visual identity.
• Develop content strategies that support brand awareness growth and audience engagement for hospitality sector clients.
• Assist with pre-production logistics and post-production finishing across concurrent brand campaigns.
• Work with the creative team to develop visual concepts that translate client briefs into polished, platform-ready content.

What You Bring

• A minimum of two years experience in videography, content creation, or a closely related production role.
• Working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
• A solid grasp of lighting technique, camera composition, and exposure across both professional and iPhone-based shoots.
• A demonstrated track record producing content for social media platforms, particularly short-form video formats.
• Experience in or knowledge of hospitality industry content production is a genuine advantage.
