Job Type
Revance is hiring a Video Editor to join their in-house creative studio in Nashville, Tennessee. This role sits within the company’s Media Team and is responsible for the full post-production workflow on commercial campaigns, branded content, social media assets, and internal corporate communications. If you’re an editor with a background in commercial or branded content post-production and a strong instinct for storytelling through pacing and sound, this role is built for your skillset.
About the Role
The Video Editor reports to the Manager of Cinematography and Editing inside Revance’s internal Studio department, working directly alongside producers, directors, writers, and art directors across every phase of production. Day-to-day output ranges from polished commercial edits and sizzle reels to executive communications and educational content, all held to consistent brand standards. This is a hybrid position, so expect a mix of collaborative in-room sessions and independent post-production work from a home setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut and deliver a high volume of video content across formats including commercial campaigns, social media assets, branded content, and executive communications.
- Build sequences using considered pacing, music selection, sound design, color correction, and motion graphics to carry brand messaging without losing creative integrity.
- Create motion graphics and visual effects work in After Effects to support editorial storytelling across deliverables.
- Source and clear licensed music, sound effects, and stock assets that serve the edit rather than just fill space.
- Prepare, export, and archive finished media across multiple formats, aspect ratios, and platform delivery specifications.
- Manage project organization, file structure, and media storage to keep the post-production workflow clean and collaborative.
What You Bring
- Minimum two years of professional video editing experience inside an agency, production studio, or corporate creative department.
- Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, shown through a portfolio or demo reel.
- A reel that reflects commercial editing credits, motion graphics work, and a clear understanding of pacing and visual storytelling.
- A degree in film, television, or media production, or equivalent demonstrated proficiency through your body of work.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects under tight delivery schedules without cutting corners on quality.
Why This Role
Revance is an established company in the aesthetics and therapeutics space with an in-house Studio that functions with the structure and output expectations of a small production company. The Media Team works across a genuine variety of content types, which keeps the editorial work from going stale, and the hybrid setup in Nashville gives editors access to a collaborative creative environment without a full five-day commute.
Apply now for the Video Editor position at Revance and bring your post-production skills to a team that treats editorial as a creative discipline, not an afterthought.
