This is a post-production role focused on shaping raw footage and audio recordings into polished short-form and long-form deliverables across social media and podcast channels. The role suits a working editor or strong independent creator who wants meaningful credits and real post-production workflow experience outside of commercial projects.

About the Role

The Video Editor sits inside a small but organized content operation, working from provided raw footage and audio to build out a library of mission-driven video across multiple platforms and formats. Projects range from reunion documentary cuts and volunteer stories to podcast episode production and social-first vertical content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. On any given week, you are moving between a YouTube long-form cut, a 60-second social clip, and a podcast export, each with its own delivery spec and audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit reunion and volunteer story footage into polished short-form and long-form cuts optimized for YouTube and social media distribution.
• Cut and export podcast recordings for release, handling pacing, levels, and episode structure from raw audio files.
• Produce vertical short-form video content formatted for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook, following platform-specific aspect ratios and length requirements.
• Integrate captions, licensed music, and motion graphics that align with established brand guidelines across all deliverables.
• Manage your own post-production workflow against a self-directed schedule, delivering assets to the content team on agreed timelines.
• Collaborate within a structured volunteer team that holds regular meetings and operates with clear ownership over each content vertical.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or a comparable non-linear editing system.
• A working knowledge of short-form video production for social platforms, including caption workflows and aspect ratio formatting.
• Experience editing audio-led content such as podcasts or interview-based documentary material.
• A demo reel or sample cuts that demonstrate your ability to take raw footage from assembly through picture lock.
