About the Role

The Global VFX Manager, International Originals (Latam/Canada) works within Amazon MGM Studios’ International Originals group, which produces scripted content for LATAM and Canadian markets. Day to day, this person is the central point of coordination between Production, Post, Business Affairs, Creative, and third-party VFX vendors, keeping schedules and spend aligned across all active projects. The role demands someone who can move fluently between production workflow conversations and vendor negotiations without losing thread on either.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage VFX budgets from initial breakdown through final cost reporting, tracking actuals against approved spend across multiple productions.
• Build and maintain VFX schedules that account for production milestones, post-production workflow handoffs, and vendor delivery windows.
• Oversee relationships with third-party VFX vendors, including bid review, contract management, and ongoing performance tracking.
• Coordinate VFX deliverables between on-set production teams and post facilities, ensuring shot lists and turnover materials meet vendor requirements.
• Serve as the primary VFX production contact for Business Affairs and Creative executives on all assigned LATAM and Canada projects.
• Identify schedule and budget risks early and bring proposed solutions to stakeholders before issues affect the production pipeline.

What You Bring

• 8 or more years of VFX production management experience, ideally across episodic television and feature film production.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken, at a professional production level.
• Demonstrated experience managing VFX vendor relationships and coordinating across international post-production workflows.
• Familiarity with production management tools and VFX pipeline software used in current studio and streaming production environments.
• A track record of managing concurrent projects across different production stages without significant cost or schedule overruns.
