About the Role

As a Rental Agent, Lighting and Grip, you are the direct point of contact between Cinelease and the productions pulling gear, whether that is a feature film production, an episodic television shoot, or a commercial run. Your day runs on coordinating pickups and deliveries, processing contracts and purchase orders, and keeping show files accurate across main packages, electric add-ons, grip add-ons, and exchanges. You work closely with the Shop Foreman, Sales Department, and Purchasing Agent to make sure every order moves correctly in both directions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day customer requests for lighting and grip equipment, including troubleshooting gear issues and coordinating logistics with the Shop Foreman.
• Maintain detailed show files across all required categories: main packages, electric add-ons, grip add-ons, exchanges, sub-rentals, and incoming and outgoing orders.
• Process contracts, purchase orders, missing and damaged reports, and wrap sheets for forwarding to the Accounting department.
• Sub-rent and purchase equipment as production needs demand, negotiating with vendors to bring in discounted pricing where possible.
• Use RTPRO software to track inventory and manage orders accurately across active shows.
• Assist with annual inventory counts and provide onboarding support to new Rental Agents joining the team.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience working in a lighting and grip rental house or a related film and television production supply environment.
• Proficiency in RTPRO or comparable rental management software, with solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize competing orders and customer requests without losing accuracy on paperwork or show file detail.
• Comfort with on-call availability outside standard hours and flexibility for overtime when production timelines require it.
• High school diploma required; a degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
