Video Creator / Video Editor

Kael is hiring a Video Creator and Video Editor to work fully remote, anywhere. This is a social content production role sitting at the intersection of short-form editorial and AI-generated media, responsible for delivering finished Reels and TikToks that showcase Kael’s eyewear brand. It suits a self-directed creator who is comfortable running an end-to-end post-production workflow, from concept through to platform-ready delivery, using AI generation tools as primary production assets.

About the Role

You will be working within Kael’s brand and marketing team, producing short-form video content that functions as the primary visual output for the label’s social channels. Day-to-day work involves generating image and video assets using AI tools, editing those assets into polished social-ready content, and iterating on creative formats based on what performs. This is not a support role, you own the creative from brief to final export.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce short-form social video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok using AI image and video generation tools as the core production method.
• Develop visual concepts and creative directions for product and lifestyle content that aligns with Kael’s established brand identity.
• Use AI generation platforms to create environments, characters, animations, and motion elements that replace or supplement traditional production footage.
• Complete post-production on all content, including music licensing or selection, sound design, voiceover integration, captions, and motion graphics.
• Test and evaluate emerging AI video models and generation workflows, folding new techniques into the production pipeline when they improve output quality.
• Continuously develop new creative formats and concepts suited to short-form social media production, using performance data to inform future content direction.

What You Bring

• A working portfolio of short-form social video content, with examples that demonstrate both editorial craft and AI-generated visual work.
• Hands-on experience with AI image and video generation tools such as Runway, Midjourney, Kling, or comparable platforms used in current social content production workflows.
• Proficiency in a professional video editing application, whether Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut, with the ability to finish content to platform specifications.
• A genuine working knowledge of what performs on TikTok and Instagram, beyond surface-level trend awareness.
• Ability to work independently across the full production workflow without requiring day-to-day creative direction.
