About the Role

This is a project-based post-production role operating within an established editing workflow, where the editor takes multi-camera recordings from sync through to a clean, organised handoff ready for final packaging. The work is YouTube-first, meaning every editorial decision, from pacing to B-roll placement, is made with audience retention in mind across full-length episodes. Each project also involves flagging 4 to 6 strong moments per episode and building rough vertical timelines for the internal team to finish and distribute.

Key Responsibilities

• Sync and assemble multi-camera footage into full-length podcast episodes using Adobe Premiere Pro, maintaining a clean project structure for downstream finishing.
• Edit dialogue with natural cuts and controlled pacing that preserves the authentic rhythm of long-form conversation without losing audience engagement.
• Perform dialogue cleanup and audio balancing to deliver a consistent, broadcast-quality listening experience throughout each episode.
• Identify and label 4 to 6 compelling moments per episode suitable for development into short-form social media clips.
• Apply B-roll, graphic overlays, and visual elements purposefully to support storytelling without overproducing the material.
• Incorporate structured feedback into revisions efficiently and meet agreed delivery timelines across project-based assignments.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable experience editing long-form video podcast content in a premium YouTube post-production workflow, with portfolio samples required.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with experience using Autopod for multi-camera synchronisation considered a plus.
• Working knowledge of dialogue cleanup, audio balancing, and basic audio post-production practices.
• Reliable high-speed internet and sufficient local storage to handle large 4K media files throughout the editing process.
• A portfolio containing direct links to 2 to 3 long-form podcast episodes you have edited, plus short-form clips where available.
