This role sits at the intersection of documentary-style storytelling and social-first video production, generating everything from docu-series episodes and event coverage to recurring produced franchises and quick-turn vertical content. It suits a self-sufficient shooter who owns their kit, runs single-operator productions comfortably, and knows how to find the story in an unscripted environment.

About the Role

The Videographer at Dorsia works directly within the creative and social team, producing content across restaurant and hospitality venues, large-scale events, and founder-facing editorial formats. On any given week, this person might be filming a docu-series episode in one market, covering a cultural activation in another, and cutting a quick-turn social clip before the flight home. The production workflow runs lean and fast, with direct handoffs to in-house editors and close collaboration with producers and the social team.

Key Responsibilities

• Film docu-series episodes, member and founder spotlights, and behind-the-scenes venue content across Dorsia markets and event destinations.
• Cover large-scale event productions end to end, handling camera, lighting, and location audio without crew support.
• Shoot recurring produced series including Designing Delicious and the Mini Mic social franchise in both horizontal and vertical formats.
• Capture restaurant and venue content to a standard that meets partner and operator expectations across 400-plus locations.
• Handle light editing and quick-turn assembly cuts when the post-production workflow requires speed over a full editorial cycle.
• Maintain organized raw footage libraries and clean file handoffs so nothing stalls between capture and publish.

What You Bring

• Two to five years of professional videography experience across event coverage, documentary-style storytelling, lifestyle, and social content production.
• Hands-on experience with cinema camera systems including the Sony FX3, FX6, Canon C70, and C100, plus equal fluency shooting on iPhone.
• A portfolio demonstrating range across interviews, unscripted events, restaurant and hospitality content, and vertical social formats.
• Working knowledge of a standard post-production workflow, including self-editing quick-turn material.
• Access to your own professional camera kit and the ability to travel frequently on short notice.
