Job Position(s): Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor — Hybrid
Project Type: Film & Television
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Incisive Media is hiring a Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor on a fixed-term contract basis in Central London. This role sits within the video and motion graphics department, producing event stings, promos, social content, and highlight reels across Incisive Media’s editorial and events output. It suits a post-production professional who is comfortable moving between motion graphics work and video editing within a small, output-driven creative team.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Video and Motion Graphics, this position is embedded in a creative team that services a media company with a regular slate of live events, branded content, and digital video. Day-to-day post-production workflow includes cutting social snippets from longer event footage, building motion graphics packages for promos, and turning around highlight reels to tight deadlines. The role carries real ownership of deliverables, not just support tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and animate event stings and branded motion graphics packages for use across digital and live event contexts.
  • Edit promo videos and highlight reels from raw event footage, managing the full post-production workflow from ingest to delivery.
  • Cut and format social video snippets optimised for platform-specific aspect ratios and durations.
  • Maintain visual consistency across all motion graphics output, working within established brand guidelines.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously under the direction of the Head of Video and Motion Graphics, meeting broadcast-quality output standards.
  • Contribute to the development of new motion graphics templates and visual styles as the team’s content slate grows.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrable experience in motion graphics design and video editing, ideally across branded content or media production environments.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro as core production tools, with a working knowledge of the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A portfolio that shows motion graphics work alongside edited video content, including event or promo material.
  • Ability to work extended hours during high-volume production periods without a drop in output quality.
  • Strong attention to detail across typography, colour grading, and animation timing within a post-production context.

Why This Role

Incisive Media is an established name in specialist media, and this contract offers direct access to a senior creative lead rather than a layered agency structure. The hybrid working arrangement is genuine, with a Central London base for collaborative production days. For a motion graphics and video editing professional looking to build credits across branded content and live event post-production, the scope here is real and the team is small enough to matter.

Apply now for the Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor contract role at Incisive Media and bring your post-production skills to a team that will actually use them.
