About the Role

Bio-Rad’s internal studio handles photography and video production for a science and life sciences company with global reach, meaning the asset library is large and the production workflow is structured. Day to day, the Associate Photographer/Videographer & Photo Retoucher splits time between post-production image finishing and supporting active shoots, either in-studio or on location. The role is built for someone who can own retouching independently while also functioning as a capable production assistant when the team needs hands on set.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform color correction, image cleanup, and final image finishing in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to deliver on-brand visual assets across product and commercial photography.
• Manage RAW file workflows including file naming, formatting, backup, and upload to digital asset management libraries across multiple platforms.
• Support shoot preparation including lighting setup, camera operation, and equipment staging for studio and on-location production.
• Capture supporting content and handle smaller assignments independently from production through post-production delivery.
• Maintain studio equipment inventory, including cleaning lenses, cameras, and related gear to keep production operations running without interruption.
• Collaborate directly with Producers, Photographers, Videographers, and Editors across active projects within the post-production workflow.

What You Bring

• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in photo retouching, photography, videography, or a related multimedia production environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, with a sharp eye for color accuracy, detail, and image consistency.
• Working knowledge of photography and videography production, including lighting, camera operation, and basic video editing.
• Strong understanding of file formats, RAW workflows, archiving practices, and asset management across production pipelines.
• A technical degree, an Associate’s degree with 3 or more years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 2 or more years of experience.
