Project Type: Short Film
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Qualcomm is hiring a Video Editor and Multimedia Producer based in Veracruz, Ver, MX to join its in-house Creative Studio team. This role sits firmly in post-production, responsible for assembling and delivering story-driven tech films across digital, social, and broadcast platforms. It suits an editor with a solid background in non-linear editing and multimedia production who is comfortable owning a project from rough cut to final delivery.

About the Role

The Creative Studio at Qualcomm functions as an internal production house, producing content that explains and promotes the company’s technology through film and video. This Video Editor and Multimedia Producer will work across multiple concurrent projects, moving between offline editing, motion graphics, and final output depending on the production phase. A typical day involves reviewing dailies, building sequences, syncing with producers on timelines, and preparing deliverables formatted for different distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit long and short-form video content from assembly cut through picture lock, maintaining narrative clarity and pacing suited to tech storytelling.
  • Manage the post-production workflow independently, including media ingestion, bin organization, proxy management, and archive.
  • Build motion graphics and title sequences using Adobe After Effects to support the editorial and visual language of each project.
  • Collaborate directly with producers and directors during review sessions, incorporating notes efficiently across multiple revision rounds.
  • Prepare and export platform-specific deliverables, including broadcast-spec files, compressed web versions, and social cuts with adapted aspect ratios.
  • Coordinate logistics for post-production schedules, flagging risks to delivery timelines and adjusting sequences as project scope evolves.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience as a video editor in a corporate, agency, or studio post-production environment, with a reel that includes story-driven content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, with working knowledge of the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with color correction tools and audio mixing at an editorial level, sufficient to produce clean picture and sound for client review.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing control of individual deadlines or deliverable specs.
  • Comfort working in an office-based production environment with consistent on-site collaboration requirements.

Why This Role

Qualcomm’s Creative Studio produces content tied to one of the more technically complex product stories in the consumer electronics space, which means the editorial work requires genuine craft, not just assembly. The team operates with a level of internal structure that gives editors real ownership over post-production decisions rather than functioning as pure execution. For a Video Editor and Multimedia Producer looking to build a consistent body of work in tech film production, this position offers both the volume and the variety to develop meaningfully.

Apply now for the Video Editor and Multimedia Producer role at Qualcomm and bring your post-production experience to a team that takes the editorial process seriously.
