Disney is hiring a Producer I for its Digital Entertainment games division, based out of Glendale, CA. It suits a mid-level game producer with live operations credits who knows how to keep a development team organized and moving without losing the creative thread.

About the Role

The Producer I reports to the Executive Producer and works across a multi-studio game development environment, coordinating with internal partners at Disney, Pixar, 20th Century, Lucasfilm, and Marvel on asset approvals and brand alignment. A typical day involves tracking sprint schedules in project management tools, facilitating stand-ups and playtests, and surfacing blockers to production leadership before they become real problems. This is a remote position, though the role is anchored to Disney’s Glendale operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and track the feature team’s production schedule using tools including Jira, Confluence, Airtable, and Excel throughout the game development pipeline.
  • Organize and run key agile rituals including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, reviews, retrospectives, and playtests.
  • Escalate production blockers and keep the Executive Producer and leadership team informed of schedule risks and dependency issues.
  • Coordinate asset and brand approvals with internal stakeholders across Disney’s portfolio of studios and IP holders.
  • Champion the production vision for the project internally, serving as an organizational anchor for the cross-functional development team.
  • Support the broader production team with additional tasks as the project scope evolves across its development cycle.

What You Bring

  • At least 3 years of production experience specifically in console, mobile, or PC game development.
  • A credited production role on at least one shipped AAA live-operated game title.
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Airtable, and Excel in an active game development pipeline context.
  • Demonstrated experience with live operations components on at least one released mobile, console, or PC title.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional production experience.
