Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic development of the Birdsong publishing catalogue, identifying composers and works suited to film and television licensing opportunities.
• Manage rights administration across the full roster, ensuring accurate registration, royalty tracking, and collection society relationships with bodies such as PRS for Music and MCPS.
• Build and maintain working relationships with composers, co-publishers, broadcasters, and sync licensing partners across the UK and internationally.
• Negotiate and oversee publishing contracts, co-publishing agreements, and administration deals with a clear understanding of underlying rights and term structures.
• Drive new revenue streams through active pitching of catalogue works for sync placements in episodic television, feature film production, advertising, and digital media.
• Represent Harrison Parrott at industry events, publisher forums, and composer showcases to maintain the company’s presence in the UK music publishing landscape.
