Job Position(s): Senior Videographer - Lead Global Video Strategy; Hybrid
Project Type: Documentary
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Regent’s University London is hiring a Senior Videographer to lead its video production output, based in London, England. This role sits within the university’s marketing and communications function, owning end-to-end video production from concept through delivery across brand campaigns, social content, and live event coverage. It suits a camera-led storyteller who has built a body of work across documentary-style interview production and multi-platform video content strategy.

About the Role

The Senior Videographer at Regent’s University London takes ownership of the institution’s YouTube channel alongside a broader video content slate that spans student and alumni storytelling, campaign launches, and event capture. Day-to-day production workflow includes pre-production planning, on-location shooting, and managing the post-production pipeline through to final delivery across digital platforms. The role requires someone comfortable operating as a one-person crew when needed, while also directing junior contributors and external suppliers on larger productions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead video production from brief to delivery on brand campaigns, alumni documentary content, and live event coverage.
  • Own and develop the YouTube channel strategy, including series planning, publishing cadence, and performance analysis.
  • Operate camera on location shoots, including interviews, event videography, and campus-based narrative content.
  • Manage the full post-production workflow, including picture editing, colour grading, and audio finishing for multi-platform deliverables.
  • Shape the university’s global video strategy, aligning production output with audience development goals across international markets.
  • Brief and oversee external production vendors and freelance crew on higher-scale campaign shoots.

What You Bring

  • A strong reel of documentary-style and branded video production work, ideally including institutional or editorial storytelling credits.
  • Proven experience with professional camera systems and proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent non-linear editing software.
  • Hands-on colour grading experience using DaVinci Resolve or Lumetri Color workflows.
  • Demonstrable experience developing video strategy for YouTube or equivalent long-form video platforms.
  • Ability to produce and shoot independently on location without dedicated crew support.

Why This Role

Regent’s University London operates as an independent university with an internationally diverse student body, which means the video content produced here reaches audiences across multiple countries and genuinely shapes how prospective students engage with the institution. The Senior Videographer role carries real creative authority over the production slate rather than executing someone else’s vision. For a video professional looking to move into a lead position with strategic scope, this is a substantive step.

Apply now for the Senior Videographer position at Regent’s University London and take ownership of a video production function with genuine global reach.
