VFX Producer (General Submission)

Company 3 is accepting general submissions for a VFX Producer based in Vancouver, BC, for anticipated future openings on their Curated team. This role sits at the center of the post-production workflow, managing VFX projects from initial award and pre-production through conform, color, and final delivery. About the Role

Company 3’s Curated division handles high-end creative services across film and television production, including 3D animation, compositing, color grading, and post-production finishing. The VFX Producer serves as the primary client contact while working closely with VFX Supervisors and CG Supervisors to keep multiple projects on track simultaneously. On any given day, that means balancing staffing needs, tracking budgets, and fielding creative notes, sometimes all at once.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple VFX projects simultaneously across all stages of production, from pre-production planning through final delivery.
• Work directly with Directors, VFX Supervisors, and CG Supervisors to assess project scope, build accurate budgets, and develop realistic schedules.
• Maintain production schedules, monitor resource allocation, and adjust staffing plans as project demands shift.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the VFX pipeline, managing expectations and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Apply creative and technical judgment to identify and resolve production issues before they affect deadlines or deliverables.
• Keep communication flowing between department heads, artists, and studio management across all active projects.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a producer in VFX or post-production, with credits across feature film or episodic television preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities with minimal oversight.
• Strong grasp of VFX post-production workflow, including conform, color, and delivery pipelines.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing direct client relationships.
• Track record of delivering projects on time and within approved budget in a production environment.
