Volunteer Event Videographer

TechBBQ is hiring a Volunteer Event Videographer to join their official content team at Bella Center in Copenhagen for their 2026 conference. This role sits within the social and digital content arm of the production, generating footage for highlight reels, short-form social platforms, on-stage interviews, and year-round campaign assets. It suits a videographer with live event production experience who can move between cinematic coverage and fast-turnaround vertical content within a single shift.

About the Role

The Volunteer Event Videographer works directly alongside the TechBBQ content team across one six-hour shift on either 26 or 27 August 2026, covering Europe’s largest Nordic startup conference with over 10,000 attendees. The output feeds directly into social media publishing, so the workflow runs tight, with footage expected to be delivered organised and on deadline. On the floor, this means moving between keynote stages, networking lounges, activations, and candid attendee moments without missing the beats that make event coverage worth watching.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture documentary-style event footage across multiple venue areas, including stages, sponsor activations, and networking spaces throughout the conference floor.
• Shoot short-form vertical content formatted for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn throughout the shift.
• Record on-camera interviews and vox pops with founders, investors, speakers, and partners as directed by the content team.
• Apply sound, framing, and lighting judgment in uncontrolled live event environments without dedicated crew support.
• Coordinate with the TechBBQ content team in real time to prioritise coverage across a two-day conference production schedule.
• Deliver all footage in an organised format within the agreed post-event deadline.

What You Bring

• A portfolio demonstrating live event videography, conference coverage, or festival production work.
• Your own professional or semi-professional camera kit, suitable for both cinematic and run-and-gun social content capture.
• Demonstrated experience shooting interviews and crowd coverage in unscripted, high-traffic environments.
• Working knowledge of vertical short-form content production for social media distribution.
• Availability confirmed for 26 or 27 August 2026 with no scheduling conflicts during the assigned shift.
