About the Role

The Senior AI Video Editor operates within a cross-functional content team, working directly alongside social, product marketing, and brand teams to produce both short-form and long-form video at high volume. A typical day involves generating and refining AI video outputs, building sequences in an NLE, and applying motion graphics, color grading, and sound design to bring a finished piece to air-ready quality. The role carries full editorial ownership, from script and storyboard through final export, rather than functioning as a support editor in someone else’s post-production workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full post-production pipeline on each project, including AI generation, compositing, motion graphics, color grading, and audio design.
• Write scripts and build storyboards that establish clear narrative arcs and deliberate pacing before a single frame is generated or cut.
• Apply advanced prompt engineering skills to AI video generation models to produce usable, on-brand footage that holds up in the edit.
• Deliver high-volume content across both short-form social formats and longer campaign or tutorial assets under tight turnaround schedules.
• Collaborate with social, product marketing, and brand teams during pre-production and review stages to keep projects aligned with campaign goals.
• Maintain consistent visual language across all output, including typography, color treatment, and motion design.

What You Bring

• Three to five or more years of video editing and production experience, with a portfolio that includes AI-generated work.
• Expert-level prompt engineering skills and hands-on experience with current AI video generation models.
• Proficiency in at least one professional NLE, including Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Demonstrated ability to write scripts and construct storyboards, not just cut footage handed to you.
• A genuine command of color grading, pacing, audio design, and motion graphics as craft disciplines.
