About the Role

The Videographer (Social First) works inside ProductionBase’s in-house studio, producing content that explains healthcare-related topics and communicates brand messaging across social channels. A typical day moves between pre-production planning, single-operator shoots, and post-production editing, with turnaround expectations that reflect social content schedules rather than broadcast timelines. The role demands someone who understands how platform-native video performs differently from traditional corporate video production.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute single-operator shoots, handling camera, audio, and lighting setups appropriate to the content format and delivery platform.
• Edit footage through the full post-production workflow, including rough cut, color correction, sound mix, and final export optimized for social specifications.
• Produce short-form video assets across multiple aspect ratios, adapting the same shoot material for different platform requirements.
• Work within a content calendar to deliver finished cuts on deadlines that align with social publishing schedules.
• Manage in-house media asset organization, maintaining a structured library of footage, project files, and final deliverables.
• Contribute to pre-production decisions including shot lists, scripting support, and location or set logistics for upcoming productions.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience as a videographer and editor on social-first or digital content productions, with a portfolio showing both shooting and editing credits.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and the broader Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects for motion graphics work.
• Hands-on experience with camera operation, including exposure control, lens selection, and run-and-gun lighting setups.
• Understanding of social video production formats, including vertical, square, and widescreen deliverables for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Ability to work independently through the complete production workflow without relying on a dedicated camera, grip, or post team.
