About the Role

The VFX department at One of Us Ltd works across feature film production and high-end television, and this position carries overall creative authority on projects running simultaneously in two cities. Day to day, that means reviewing work in progress, making creative calls on comp and CG, managing client sessions, and keeping both studios aligned on methodology and output. The role demands someone comfortable moving between hands-on creative feedback and the organisational side of multi-site production workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and maintain the creative vision for visual effects across all assigned projects, ensuring consistency from previs through final picture.
• Lead client relationships throughout production, presenting work, managing feedback, and representing the studio in creative reviews.
• Coordinate VFX output between the London and Paris teams, resolving conflicts in scheduling, resource allocation, and shot priorities.
• Mentor artists and junior supervisors, giving notes that are specific to the shot and grounded in production context rather than general feedback.
• Work directly with directors and DPs during photography to capture the data and plates the post-production workflow requires.
• Oversee technical and creative quality control at each milestone, signing off deliverables before they leave the facility.

What You Bring

• A credited track record as a VFX Supervisor or senior compositor on feature film production or high-end episodic television.
• Fluency with core VFX software used in a professional pipeline, including compositing and CG applications standard to the discipline.
• Demonstrated experience managing geographically distributed teams through full production cycles.
• A portfolio that shows range across practical integration, CG environments, and effects work on live-action projects.
• The authority to make creative decisions independently while keeping productions on schedule and within scope.
