Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the CG department across active productions, ensuring artistic output meets the technical and creative brief at every stage of the VFX pipeline.
• Manage departmental resources including artist scheduling, software allocation, and workload distribution across concurrent projects.
• Establish and maintain technical standards for CG workflows, ensuring consistency from asset creation through to compositing handoff.
• Act as a primary communication channel between CG artists, VFX producers, and downstream post-production departments.
• Review shots at key milestones, providing clear and actionable notes that keep work on schedule without compromising quality.
• Identify and resolve pipeline bottlenecks, working closely with TD teams to implement solutions that scale across productions.

What You Bring

• Significant supervisory experience within a VFX studio environment, ideally across both feature film production and episodic television.
• Strong working knowledge of Maya and Houdini as core production tools, with the ability to assess and guide artist work at a technical level.
• A track record of credits on high-end VFX productions, demonstrating ownership of CG scope from brief through to delivery.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across a global studio structure, managing communication across departments and locations.
• Familiarity with current post-production workflow standards, including rendering pipelines, asset management systems, and show-level technical documentation.
