About the Role

The Makeup Artist & Education Lead works within Tropic Skincare’s product and community teams, contributing to both the creative development of a new makeup line and the education infrastructure that supports its launch. Day to day, this means filming on-camera tutorials, running live sessions with the brand’s Ambassador network, and feeding back practical artistry insights into product refinement. The role also leads the Makeup Collective, a group of roughly 100 community members actively shaping the range through testing and feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and film makeup tutorials and application content for digital training platforms, product launches, and brand education channels.
• Develop structured education across complexion work, colour placement, skin prep, product layering, and tool technique for all skill levels.
• Lead the Makeup Collective community, facilitating live demonstrations, collaborative sessions, and a feedback loop that informs product and shade decisions.
• Translate community and Ambassador insights into actionable recommendations for the product development team during the makeup range build-out.
• Build education that supports commercial storytelling, helping Ambassadors articulate product benefits clearly to their own customer base.
• Maintain consistency across makeup education content spanning campaign rollouts, events, and new product launches.

What You Bring

• Professional makeup artistry certification or equivalent recognised training with strong technical skills across varied skin tones, ages, and skin types.
• Demonstrated experience producing on-camera beauty tutorials, training content, or structured educational material for a brand or platform.
• A working knowledge of clean beauty formulations, natural-origin ingredients, or skinification trends within the beauty product space.
• Experience educating sales consultants, creator communities, or Ambassador networks in a commercial beauty environment.
• Familiarity with social-first content formats and what drives engagement in beauty education online.
