About the Role

The Video Editor works inside a collaborative post-production workflow alongside producers, designers, and external stakeholders to deliver polished content that supports CMN Hospitals’ fundraising and brand initiatives. Day-to-day work includes managing footage from field production through final delivery, handling audio mixing, color grading, and formatting assets for multiple distribution channels. Occasional field support is part of the job, including interview setups and coordinating with hired crew on location.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver broadcast-quality video content using Adobe Premiere, managing full post-production workflow from ingest through final export.
• Perform audio clean-up, voice-over direction, music editing, and mix to support narrative-driven storytelling across campaign and fundraising content.
• Apply color grading and titling to ensure all deliverables meet CMN brand standards and partner specifications.
• Create motion graphics in After Effects to enhance visual storytelling across digital and broadcast formats.
• Organize and archive media files on shared servers, and repurpose existing footage for new campaigns and distribution use cases.
• Support field production as needed, including directing interviews with children ages 5 to 14 and their families, and coordinating with hired crew on set.

What You Bring

• 3 to 5 years of professional video editing experience with Adobe Premiere as your primary post-production tool.
• Demonstrated ability to execute complete post-production workflows and deliver broadcast-ready digital assets.
• After Effects experience for motion graphics work is a preferred qualification.
• Camera operation experience and comfort in field production environments.
• Background in nonprofit, agency, or mission-driven media production is a genuine advantage here.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience, is preferred.
