About the Role

Brahma AI operates as a dedicated unit within DNEG, focused on building AI-driven products that serve the needs of feature film and episodic television production at scale. As Head of Product Technology, you will own the technical product roadmap, working directly with engineering leads, VFX supervisors, and production technology teams to ensure the software being built solves real problems in real pipelines. A typical day moves between roadmap prioritisation, architecture review, and stakeholder alignment with department heads across DNEG’s production slate.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical product roadmap for Brahma AI, translating VFX and post-production workflow requirements into software development priorities.
• Lead the product technology team through full development cycles, from scoping and prototyping through to deployment in live production environments.
• Partner with VFX pipeline engineers and production technology leads to ensure Brahma AI tools integrate cleanly with existing studio infrastructure.
• Set engineering standards and product quality benchmarks across all software products developed within the Brahma AI unit.
• Evaluate emerging AI methodologies for applicability to feature film and episodic production, and bring credible recommendations to senior leadership.
• Act as the primary technical voice in client and stakeholder conversations, representing the product team’s decisions and timelines with clarity.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable experience leading product technology teams within a VFX studio, animation studio, or post-production environment.
• A track record of shipping software products that have been adopted inside active film or television production pipelines.
• Fluency in AI and machine learning concepts as they apply to visual effects, image processing, or production workflow automation.
• Experience working across multi-project slates, managing competing technical priorities without losing delivery momentum.
• Strong communication skills with non-technical production stakeholders, including VFX producers and department supervisors.
