Disney is hiring a Content Security, Operations & Support, Manager, APAC to be based across two locations in the Asia-Pacific region. This role sits within Disney Entertainment’s Sensitive Information Protection group and is responsible for securing media assets, content creation workflows, and post-production pipelines across the APAC territory. It suits a security professional with direct experience in production environments who understands how content moves from set to screen and where it is most at risk.

About the Role

The Content Security, Operations & Support, Manager, APAC reports into the Senior Manager of DE-SIP International Operations and owns the full regional security program, covering both internal production teams and third-party vendors across content workflows. Day to day, this person is assessing risk across episodic television and film distribution pipelines, managing vendor compliance, and keeping regional operations aligned with global standards set by teams in the US and EMEA. The role requires someone comfortable moving between production security conversations and executive-level reporting without losing precision in either direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and operate the end-to-end Sensitive Information Protection program across APAC, ensuring consistent execution against global content security standards.
• Lead third-party risk assessments for production partners, post-production facilities, and vendors, applying risk-tiering frameworks before any sensitive asset access is granted.
• Assess and harden sensitive information workflows across production and post-production environments, identifying vulnerabilities and driving remediation with technical and operational teams.
• Serve as the primary regional escalation point for security policy enforcement, making risk-informed decisions across internal teams and external partners.
• Drive operational reporting and performance tracking, delivering clear program insights to leadership on risk exposure and compliance across the APAC footprint.
• Coordinate with global SIP teams and external assessors to maintain consistent application of Disney’s security controls across all regional production security programs.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience managing content security or information protection programs within a studio, streamer, or media production environment.
• Hands-on background in third-party risk management, ideally covering post-production vendors, VFX pipelines, or distribution partners.
• Familiarity with industry content security standards such as those set by the MPA (Motion Picture Association) Content Security Best Practices.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across business, technical, and production functions without direct authority.
• Experience operating across multiple APAC markets, with an understanding of regional regulatory and business nuances as they apply to media security.
