Videographer & Video Editor

Balkan Group Ltd is hiring a Videographer & Video Editor to join their in-house content team in Sofia, Bulgaria. This role sits within the brand’s marketing and content production workflow, responsible for shooting and editing short-form video content across social media platforms, product campaigns, and event coverage. It suits a camera operator and editor who is comfortable owning a project from concept through to final delivery, particularly in food and beverage visual storytelling.

About the Role

Balkan Group operates as a coffee company with an active content calendar, meaning this person is producing work consistently rather than on a project-by-project basis. A typical day moves between on-set production, whether that is filming an espresso pour or covering a live event, and post-production work inside an editing suite handling color grading, sound mix, and final output for multiple platforms. The role involves real input at the concept stage, including storyboarding and campaign brainstorming, not just executing briefs handed down from above.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute video production for advertising spots, product videos, recipe content, events, and interview segments from pre-production through camera operation and wrap.
• Perform picture editing with color grading, audio processing, and music selection to deliver broadcast-ready and platform-optimized cuts.
• Produce short-form social media video content formatted for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, hitting current platform specs and editorial trends.
• Build animated titles, lower thirds, and subtitles using Adobe After Effects or equivalent motion graphics tools within the post-production workflow.
• Develop storyboards and shot lists during pre-production planning sessions to support marketing campaign development.
• Manage multiple deliverables simultaneously, meeting deadlines across a content schedule that runs product launches, seasonal campaigns, and ongoing social output.

What You Bring

• Proven hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve at a professional production level.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, animated captions, and title sequences.
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong compositional judgment, color work, and editing rhythm across short-form content.
• Prior credits in food, beverage, or lifestyle video production are a genuine advantage for this role.
• Ability to manage your own production schedule and deliver on deadline without close supervision.
