Videographer & Content Creator

Bangadang, a Western Australian farm estate based in the Donnybrook region, is hiring a Videographer and Content Creator to join their on-site team in South West Western Australia. About the Role

The Videographer and Content Creator works directly alongside a Marketing Manager and in-house Video Editor, handing off organised, edit-ready footage as the core deliverable of the role. Projects range from short-form social content and product launch campaigns to longer documentary-style productions and YouTube videos capturing Bangadang’s operational story. On any given day this person might be capturing b-roll of farm activity, shooting a progress documentary for a major infrastructure project, or producing training video content for internal use.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate professional camera equipment on location across a working farm estate, capturing high-quality footage and stills suited to broadcast-standard content production.
• Manage the full capture-to-handover workflow, including organising, labelling, and delivering footage to the Video Editor in a format ready for post-production.
• Produce short-form video content for social media and product marketing campaigns, adapting shooting style to suit platform and audience requirements.
• Document ongoing farm and aquaculture projects through video diaries, progress updates, and long-form documentary segments for YouTube and internal communications.
• Work directly with farm staff and contractors on-location to capture operational processes, interview subjects, and explain project activity clearly on camera.
• Identify storytelling opportunities independently and contribute creative direction to shoots, working within briefs prepared by the marketing team.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience shooting professional video and photography across a range of content production styles, from run-and-gun documentary to planned commercial shoots.
• Strong working knowledge of composition, lighting, and location audio capture without a dedicated sound department.
• A portfolio that shows range across short-form social content, corporate video, or documentary production.
• Comfort working independently on-site with minimal crew, and the ability to travel within Western Australia and occasionally interstate or internationally for filming assignments.
• Familiarity with footage management and delivery workflows that support a downstream video editing and post-production process.
