About the Role

The Videographer works directly alongside the marketing and sales teams, producing content that covers both new and pre-owned stock across dealership locations. A typical day moves between on-lot vehicle shoots, editing sessions, and coordination with sales staff to ensure visual content is ready for digital platforms and campaign rollouts. Occasional weekend availability is required for events and dealership activations.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce vehicle walkarounds, short-form reels, and promotional clips that meet the visual standards required for automotive marketing content across digital platforms.
• Manage post-production workflow from raw footage ingestion through colour, cut, and final export, delivering polished output within campaign timelines.
• Attend dealership events, sales activations, and promotional functions to capture live footage for use across marketing channels.
• Maintain visual consistency across the dealer group’s online presence, applying a coherent look and feel to all published content.
• Support sales teams by producing targeted visual assets that present stock effectively for promotional activity.
• Monitor video content trends and apply current best practices in composition, lighting, and platform-specific formatting to each production.

What You Bring

• A minimum of three years of proven experience as a Videographer, with a portfolio or showreel that demonstrates both filming and editing ability across commercial or retail production environments.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools used in a commercial post-production workflow.
• A solid technical grounding in lighting, composition, and camera operation suited to location shoots without a full crew.
• A valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel between dealership sites as required.
• Matric certificate as a minimum educational requirement.
