KIK Digital is hiring a Video Editor with Graphic Design Skills based full-time in Darwin, Northern Territory. This is a post-production role sitting inside a commercial content operation, with output spanning broadcast television commercials and short-form digital and social media advertising. It suits an editor who is equally comfortable cutting supplied footage and building out titles, layouts and motion graphics from scratch.

About the Role

Working from KIK Digital’s Darwin office, this person operates across the full post-production workflow for commercial content, taking client projects from raw assets through to broadcast and digital deliverables. The day-to-day involves cutting TVCs and short-form promotional videos, designing graphic elements in Adobe tools, and managing several projects at different stages of production simultaneously. The work is self-directed, with clear briefs and established quality-control processes already in place.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit television commercials and short-form promotional content using supplied footage, still images, and client-provided assets in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Design titles, lower thirds, screen layouts and simple motion graphics in After Effects to match brand guidelines and production briefs.
• Apply colour correction, audio balancing and final output preparation to deliver broadcast-ready and platform-specific formats.
• Select and clear music and sound effects appropriate to each commercial’s tone and client brief.
• Manage multiple projects across different stages of the post-production pipeline, meeting scheduled delivery deadlines without supervision.
• Maintain organised project files and accurate records within KIK Digital’s backend production management systems.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience editing short-form advertising content, television commercials, or social media video production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• A trained eye for composition, typography, timing and visual storytelling within a commercial post-production context.
• The ability to interpret a brief independently and produce polished work across varied industries and asset types.
• Strong organisational skills and a practical approach to managing competing deadlines across a live project slate.
