Location
This is a fully remote position for candidates residing in select states.

The Role
Splash’s Marketing team is looking for a Video Editor & Designer who is fast, creative, and obsessive about quality – someone who can pump out high-performing paid social videos, organic content, and polished static graphics without sacrificing craft.

You’ll be the engine behind how Splash looks on screen. That means cutting paid ads that drive installs, building motion graphics that stop thumbs mid-scroll, designing winner cards and promo assets in Figma, and turning live sports moments into shareable content – fast.

This is a production-heavy role. We need someone who can operate at volume without losing the eye for detail that makes creative actually convert.

What You’ll Do

Video Production & Editing

  • Edit high-volume paid social video ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube – iterating quickly on hooks, formats, and CTAs based on performance data.
  • Produce organic social video content: highlight reels, winner callouts, contest promos, and live sports reaction content.
  • Cut raw footage, add motion graphics, captions, sound design, and branded overlays to turn raw clips into polished, on-brand assets.
  • Build reusable video templates that the broader team can use to move faster. Stay ahead of platform trends (TikTok formats, Reels hooks, YouTube Shorts) and proactively bring new formats to the team.

Graphic Design

  • Design static and animated graphics for paid social, email banners, in-app messages, contest banners, app store images, and more – all to spec and on brand.
  • Build and maintain design files in Figma so assets are organized, version-controlled, and easy for teammates to use.
  • Create winner cards, contest promo graphics, and campaign visuals that communicate real payout numbers with confidence and clarity.
  • Support product and growth with design requests as needed (landing pages, ad creatives, one-pagers).

Brand & Creative Consistency

  • Own brand consistency across all visual output – color, typography, tone, and layout should be unmistakably Splash across every format.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Splash visual identity as the brand scales.
  • Partner with the Growth Marketing and Content teams to ensure video and design creative is aligned to campaign goals and audience segments.

What You’ll Bring

  • Professional video editing and graphic design experience, ideally in a brand, agency, or sports environment.
  • Strong design fundamentals – you understand layout, hierarchy, color, and typography, not just how to use the tools.
  • Expert-level proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro (or similar platforms)
  • Comfortable in Figma, Photoshop, and Canva for static graphic design, component building, and handing off assets.
  • A reel or portfolio that shows both video editing and design work – we want to see range.
  • Experience producing content for paid social (Meta, TikTok) with an understanding of how creative decisions affect performance metrics (hook rate, hold rate, CTR).
  • Ability to work fast without cutting corners – you know when a 30-minute cut is good enough and when something needs another pass.
  • Must be an avid sports fan. You follow the games, live in the moments, and understand the culture.
  • Passion for fantasy sports and survivor contests is a huge plus – you must get why winning $1,000,000 from a $25 entry in a Survivor contest is a massive headline, and you know how to frame a big win.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with clear deadlines and high output expectations.
  • High degree of personal agency – you don’t wait to be told what to do, you identify a problem, figure it out, and deliver, start to finish.
  • You use AI tools daily to accelerate production – if AI isn’t already embedded in how you edit, design, and ideate, this probably isn’t the right role.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI-assisted video or design tools (RunwayML, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, etc.)
  • Familiarity with performance creative frameworks (hook testing, creative iteration, A/B structure)
  • Experience in sports, gaming, DFS, or consumer fintech
  • Motion design / 2D animation skills beyond basic After Effects

Compensation and Benefits
As a Splash team member, you’ll receive a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes:

  • A competitive annual salary range of $55,000-70,000. This range may be modified, and final compensation may vary based on work experience and skill level
