About the Role

The Creative Studio functions as an internal production house serving one of the largest hospitality and entertainment companies in North America. Day-to-day post-production workflow includes editing branded video content, cutting social deliverables, building motion graphics, and handling audio mix, all within a standard Adobe-based pipeline. On shoot days, the Video Editor also operates as a solo videographer, handling camera, lighting, and audio capture from setup through wrap.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture video across a range of project types including branded content, executive interviews, live events, podcasts, and promotional campaigns using Canon camera systems.
• Set up and operate cameras, lenses, lighting rigs, and audio equipment as a solo videographer without dedicated grip or sound support.
• Edit footage into polished final cuts across multiple platforms, shaping narrative through pacing, music selection, and structural storytelling decisions.
• Build motion graphics, lower thirds, and titles inside Adobe After Effects, and integrate visual effects into the post-production workflow as needed.
• Mix and clean dialogue and ambient audio for broadcast and digital delivery, ensuring clarity across varying playback environments.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously against rolling deadlines, maintaining quality across both production and post-production phases.

What You Bring

• Minimum three years of professional experience in video production and editing, with credits in branded content, sports, or live event production preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, with working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
• Hands-on experience operating professional camera systems within the Canon ecosystem, with solid understanding of lighting techniques and location audio capture.
• A portfolio that demonstrates both shooting and editing capabilities across different formats and deliverable types.
