Video Editor

Distro, based out of Duluth, Georgia, is hiring a Video Editor to work fully remote on digital content across social media and branded campaigns. This role sits squarely in post-production, with the editor responsible for cutting and delivering short-form and long-form content optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. It suits a mid-level editor who is comfortable owning projects end-to-end within a lean creative team and understands how social media post-production workflow differs from traditional broadcast output.

About the Role

The Video Editor will work within Distro’s creative and marketing department, producing content that spans branded social media series, digital ad campaigns, and website video assets. On any given day, this person is pulling selects, building sequences, dropping in motion graphics, and exporting platform-specific deliverables, all while managing several projects at different stages. The role requires a fluent understanding of both English and Spanish, as content is tailored for bilingual audiences across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content from assembly cut through final delivery across multiple digital platforms.
• Build and integrate motion graphics, lower thirds, captions, and sound design elements using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Optimize exports and aspect ratios for platform-specific requirements across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Work directly with creative and marketing teams to ensure each cut aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Manage a multi-project post-production schedule, hitting deadlines across simultaneous deliverables without dropping quality.
• Bring editorial ideas to the table that improve content engagement and overall performance metrics.

What You Bring

• One to two years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates branded or social media content production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects as primary post-production tools.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required, not optional.
• A working knowledge of social media trends, platform algorithms, and how they affect editorial pacing and structure.
• Experience in an agency or freelance environment with exposure to paid advertising content is a strong plus.

Compensation runs between $1,000 and $1,800 per month for a fully remote position open to LATAM-based editors.
