Job Summary

Working remotely on a 12-month contract, the VFX Artist will create and implement real-time particle effects for gameplay, environments, and cinematics in games.

Key responsibilities
  • Create, design, and implement real-time particle effects using 2D/3D elements
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper FX integration in the game engine
  • Optimize FX for framerate and memory while maintaining the overall art style of the game
Required qualifications
  • Five plus years of professional experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Proficiency in Maya and Houdini, with skills in keyframing and UV mapping
  • Experience with node-based shader networks and creating FX textures
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer graphics fundamentals and artistic analysis
  • Solid traditional arts background is a plus
