*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves preparing and cooking high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen.*Duties** Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.* Cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.* Assist in the preparation of daily specials and seasonal menu items.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.* Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.*Requirements** Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.* Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.* Good command of EnglishJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPay: $15.70-$17.00 per hourExpected hours: 25 per weekWork Location: In person
