Job Position(s): Talent Management Coordinator
Project Type: TV Series
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

WildBrain is hiring a Talent Management Coordinator to join their team in Toronto. This role sits within the studio’s HR function, supporting the full employee lifecycle across WildBrain’s animation and children’s entertainment productions, from onboarding new crew and creative staff through to offboarding and everything in between. It’s a good fit for an HR professional who understands the volume and pace of a production studio environment and knows how to keep people operations running cleanly behind the scenes.

About the Role

The Talent Management Coordinator works inside WildBrain’s people team, supporting staff across the studio’s episodic television and animation slate. Day-to-day, this person is the first point of contact for employee inquiries, the keeper of HR records, and the person who makes sure documentation is accurate and processed on time. It’s an operational role with real visibility across the business, not a background admin position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for staff, fielding policy questions and resolving issues that come through the employee inbox across the animation studio’s departments.
  • Prepare and process offer letters, employment contracts, and change documentation for crew and staff at various stages of the production employment lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HR and benefits systems, keeping data clean and audit-ready across the studio’s headcount.
  • Administer leave of absence processes, coordinate exit interviews, and handle employment verification requests from internal and external parties.
  • Support onboarding for incoming staff and crew, ensuring new hires are set up correctly before their first day on an episodic television or animation production.
  • Contribute feedback on HR processes and assist Talent leaders with people-focused projects and studio-wide HR initiatives as they arise.

What You Bring

  • Prior experience in an HR coordinator or people operations role, ideally within a production studio, broadcast, or entertainment company.
  • Solid working knowledge of HRIS platforms and benefits administration systems, with strong data entry accuracy.
  • Experience preparing employment documentation, contracts, and letters with a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with leave of absence administration and the employee lifecycle from hire through departure.
  • Strong communication skills, specifically the ability to respond to staff inquiries clearly and professionally under a consistent volume of requests.

Why This Role

WildBrain is one of Canada’s most established children’s entertainment and animation studios, with a production slate that includes globally distributed IP and original episodic content. This Talent Management Coordinator position offers real exposure to studio-side HR operations at a company with meaningful scale, not a startup building from scratch. Toronto-based candidates get to work inside a studio that has been producing animation for decades.

If you’re ready to bring your HR experience to a studio environment, apply now for the Talent Management Coordinator role at WildBrain.
