About the Role

The Studio Data Operations Specialist reports into the Studio Strategy and Operations group, which serves as the connective tissue between business process and the people who actually make Amazon MGM Studios productions. On any given day, this person might resolve a data integrity issue flagged by a Development executive, write an SOP for a Production team onboarding to a new tool, or surface a recurring user problem to the product team ahead of a feature update. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for user-reported issues across Production, Post, Development, and Finance teams, triaging and resolving problems before they disrupt active productions.
• Build and maintain training materials, user guides, and SOPs that help studio staff adopt operational tools with confidence across episodic television and film workflows.
• Maintain data fidelity across studio systems by developing a working knowledge of the business logic that underpins Amazon MGM Studios operations.
• Document and escalate recurring user pain points to inform product improvements on both existing tools and new systems being rolled out across the studio.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate documentation, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operational tasks within the post-production workflow and broader studio infrastructure.
• Support cross-departmental process improvements by identifying where data gaps or tool limitations are creating friction in studio operations.

What You Bring

• Experience in studio operations, production management, or a related operations role within film or television production.
• Familiarity with the workflows of at least two of the following departments: Production, Post, Development, or Finance in a major studio or streaming context.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear technical documentation, training guides, or SOPs for non-technical end users.
• Comfort working across multiple tools and data systems, with an ability to quickly learn proprietary platforms.
• Experience identifying and communicating product feedback to engineering or product teams in a structured way.
