About the Role
AWS Support Studio functions as the in-house creative production hub for AWS Support, responsible for video content seen millions of times, social-first programming developed in partnership with the Support Social Media Team, and in-console creative driving awareness of premium support tiers. The Sr. Creative Strategist does not carry a direct production workload but shapes the strategic direction that producers and creative leads execute against. A typical day involves translating business problems into creative briefs, evaluating where generative AI tools can augment the existing content production workflow, and building measurement frameworks that tie creative output to revenue and customer engagement data.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the creative strategy vision for Support Studio, setting direction across video, digital, and social content formats with defined success metrics for each.
- Lead strategy for revenue-driving creative that communicates the value proposition of premium AWS Support tiers through in-console placements and product marketing storytelling.
- Evaluate and scale generative AI tools across the content production workflow, building clear frameworks for where AI augments human craft and where it does not.
- Partner with the AWS Social Media Team to develop social-first content strategies that shape public perception of AWS Support across platforms.
- Build measurement infrastructure from the ground up, including attribution models, A/B testing protocols, and creative effectiveness frameworks tied to business outcomes.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders across a matrixed organization to secure alignment on creative priorities, resourcing, and future-state team capabilities.
What You Bring
- Senior-level experience in creative strategy, content strategy, or brand strategy within a digital content production or studio environment.
- Demonstrated fluency with generative AI tools as applied to content production workflows, with sound judgment on quality standards and brand fit.
- Proven track record building ROI narratives around creative investment, including experience with attribution modeling or A/B testing in a content context.
- Experience writing creative briefs and strategic frameworks that production teams can execute directly, without requiring heavy translation.
- Comfort operating in a matrixed organization where influence is earned through logic and stakeholder empathy rather than direct authority.
