Key Responsibilities

• Operate digital audio workstations, mixing consoles, and sound reinforcement systems to capture and deliver production-grade audio on live and recorded projects.
• Set up, test, and troubleshoot all recording and playback equipment ahead of shoots and live events to confirm signal flow and eliminate technical issues before they reach talent.
• Record production dialogue, ambient sound, music, and effects in both location and studio settings, maintaining clean tracks throughout.
• Mix multitrack audio in post-production using industry-standard software including Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid, applying EQ, compression, and noise reduction to meet broadcast standards.
• Manage live sound engineering during events, operating the audio system to ensure consistent, clear reinforcement for in-room and recorded audiences.
• Maintain equipment logs, recording documentation, and troubleshooting reports to support continuity across productions.

What You Bring

• Proven credits operating professional audio equipment across live event production, location recording, or studio environments.
• Hands-on proficiency with DAWs and audio mixing consoles used in production and post-production workflow.
• Working knowledge of signal processing techniques including EQ, compression, and noise reduction.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment or signal issues quickly without disrupting a shoot or live broadcast.
• Strong communication skills when working directly with directors and producers to translate creative audio needs into technical execution.
