Sea Level Media is hiring a Real Estate Videographer and Video Editor on an ongoing contractor basis in Perth, Western Australia. This role sits across both production and post-production, covering property video shoots, colour grading Log footage, and delivering polished edits through a real estate video production workflow. It suits a self-sufficient shooter-editor who owns their kit and is comfortable taking a job from location to final delivery.

About the Role

Sea Level Media produces high-end real estate content for the Perth property market, including property films, drone content, agent branding, and social media edits. The contractor will build toward owning complete jobs end-to-end, learning the house shooting and editing style while maintaining a minimum of three property video jobs per week. Typical days move between location shoots across Perth, including twilight sessions scheduled around sunset, and desk time in DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro X.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot property video on location across Perth, operating a gimbal and managing exposure, shutter speed, and frame rates for Log capture.
• Edit property films from raw footage through to final delivery, applying speed ramps, masking, and transitions consistent with the Sea Level Media style.
• Colour grade Log footage to a finished look across all real estate video production outputs.
• Select music and handle sound design to support pacing and storytelling in each property edit.
• Cut agent branding, social media content, and occasional corporate video edits to brief.
• Take revision notes from the team and apply feedback consistently across subsequent edits.

What You Bring

• Proven experience shooting and editing professional video, with a portfolio that includes property or commercial content.
• Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro X, or a clear commitment to adopting both as primary post-production workflow tools.
• Hands-on experience colour grading 4K Log footage in a professional context.
• Own camera package including drone, gimbal, and audio gear, plus reliable transport for Perth metro shoots.
• Consistent weekly availability with capacity for twilight shoots and deadline-driven turnarounds.
