About the Role

The Post-Production Coordinator at Rodeo FX works across advertising VFX projects, tracking shots, tasks, schedules, and deliverables within an established post-production workflow. Day to day, this person is inside the production tracking tools, coordinating review sessions, managing turnovers, and making sure feedback from supervisors and clients reaches artists in a clear and actionable form. Smaller recurring projects, including technical revisions, format adaptations, and version updates, are managed independently by this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Track shots, tasks, and assets through the full VFX pipeline using production tracking platforms such as ftrack or ShotGrid, keeping project data current and accurate.
• Build and maintain project schedules, delivery calendars, and milestone documents in coordination with Producers and the Executive Producer.
• Schedule and run dailies, internal reviews, and client review sessions, then translate supervisor and client feedback into precise instructions for artists.
• Coordinate turnovers, submissions, and deliveries between internal teams, external vendors, and clients, verifying that all materials meet technical specifications, naming conventions, and format requirements.
• Independently manage smaller-scale or recurring post-production assignments from brief through delivery, including reopening previously completed projects.
• Prepare and distribute status reports for Producers, Supervisors, and clients, maintaining proactive communication on priorities and project progress.

What You Bring

• Prior experience as a coordinator in post-production, VFX, or advertising production at a studio or facility.
• Working knowledge of production tracking tools such as ShotGrid or ftrack.
• Familiarity with delivery specifications, file formats, and the technical requirements common to advertising post-production workflows.
• Experience taking notes in review sessions and communicating feedback accurately to artists and supervisors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages without losing track of deadlines or deliverables.
