Line Producer, Hybrid Production

Eyeline, Netflix’s in-house VFX and virtual production studio, is hiring a Hybrid Production Line Producer based in Los Angeles, California. This role sits at the crossroads of physical production, VFX pipeline, and virtual production workflows, with direct responsibility for budgeting, scheduling, and delivering Eyeline’s scope on select episodic television and feature film productions. It’s a fit for a seasoned Line Producer who has worked across both traditional and VFX-driven productions and knows how to hold a budget together when the methodology is still being defined.

About the Role

The Hybrid Production Line Producer works embedded within show productions, partnering directly with each project’s LP and UPM to manage the specific sequences where hybrid production workflows are being applied. Day-to-day, this means tracking microschedules, running cost reports with Production Accounting, flagging where hybrid approaches shift spend between physical and VFX budgets, and keeping Eyeline’s cross-functional teams aligned with the broader show. The role reports to the VP of Global Partnerships and Development and touches creative, finance, business affairs, and talent across every project.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Eyeline’s hybrid production schedule and microschedules from pre-production through final delivery, communicating sequence complexities to Eyeline teams, Studio leadership, and the show’s LP and UPM.
• Partner with Finance and Production Accounting to develop and update the hybrid budget and monthly cost reports, assessing risk where VFX-driven workflows shift spend away from physical production.
• Identify which scenes and sequences are strong candidates for hybrid or virtual production approaches and advise show leadership when traditional methods are the better call.
• Staff the Eyeline hybrid team in partnership with Talent Acquisition, defining roles, running outreach and interviews, and handling negotiations from early pre-production.
• Manage agreements with creatives, vendors, and external partner studios through Business and Legal Affairs as Eyeline’s hybrid scope expands or changes on a project.
• Ensure productive working relationships between traditional HODs and Eyeline’s Hybrid Production HODs, solving workflow problems before they reach the set or the VFX post-production pipeline.

What You Bring

• Proven credits as a Line Producer on productions that included significant VFX or virtual production components, whether episodic television or feature film.
• Hands-on experience building and managing production budgets where physical and VFX spend overlap or trade off against each other.
• Fluency in scheduling tools and production management software used in current hybrid and virtual production workflows.
• Experience working directly with first ADs, UPMs, and VFX supervisors to schedule complex sequences with technical dependencies.
• Strong grasp of vendor contracting and business affairs processes as they apply to hybrid and VFX production scopes.
