About the Role

The Junior Video Editor / Content Producer works within a collaborative content team, contributing to projects from the scripting and concept stage through to final publish. Day-to-day work involves cutting footage in a non-linear editing suite, managing project file organization, and supporting light field production when content capture is needed. This is a post-production and content production role, not a motion graphics or VFX position, so the focus is on editorial rhythm, pacing, and platform-specific delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video content for social media platforms, web distribution, and digital marketing campaigns using industry-standard non-linear editing software.
• Add graphics, captions, and audio elements to raw footage to bring cuts up to brand and broadcast quality standards.
• Manage and organize raw media, project files, and assets across an active post-production workflow with multiple concurrent deliverables.
• Collaborate with the content team during pre-production on video concepts, outlines, and scripts before a single frame is shot.
• Support on-set or on-location content capture as a secondary shooter or production assistant when the project requires it.
• Monitor platform trends across social video to inform editorial decisions and keep output current with how content actually performs.

What You Bring

• Zero to two years of hands-on experience in video editing or content production, with a portfolio of completed work required for consideration.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or a comparable non-linear editing platform.
• A working visual sense for pacing, storytelling, and how different social platforms consume video differently.
• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent body of portfolio work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects against real deadlines without dropping quality.
